We are proud to introduce the inaugural episode of the College Baseball Central podcast.
What better first topic than our preseason top 25? We finished releasing our preseason rankings this past week, and in this podcast, I work my way through, and give my brief thoughts on the first 13 teams.
That takes us from our number one team, the Florida Gators, who are absolutely stacked in all facets, to the number 13 team, the North Carolina State Wolfpack, a team on the rise led by a deep pitching staff.
Coming later will be part two of the podcast, taking you from the number 14 team in our rankings, the Oregon Ducks, all the way through the Kentucky Wildcats, our number 25.
The podcast will also continue regularly throughout the season. Our hope is that it will be an outlet for covering college baseball in a creative, fun way. At this stage, the schedule for the podcast throughout the season is a work in progress.
The idea of not having any semblance of a podcast schedule is intriguing, as it would allow for the freedom to simply record when something newsworthy or interesting occurs, but at the same time, we recognize the importance of giving you a reasonable expectation of when the next podcast will be. Hopefully, we’ll be able to strike a nice balance between the two.
