After pushing their overall record to 15-1 with a 3-1 week that included a series win over Cal State Fullerton, Oregon State is the new top team. Florida fell because they dropped a pair of midweek games to UCF, but because they swept their weekend series with Rhode Island and because we weight the rankings toward weekend results, Florida ends up just flipping spots with OSU and falling to number two.

Arkansas stayed at number three, but we have new teams at four and five. Stanford, after winning three of four against Texas, moves up two spots to four, while Kentucky also moved up two spots, to number five, after winning a marquee series with Texas Tech.

The other jumper in the top ten is Louisville. They’re up three spots, to number seven, after kicking off their ACC slate with a series win over North Carolina. The last piece of movement in the top ten was Florida State falling five spots, to ten, after losing their ACC-opening series with Wake Forest.

Other jumpers throughout the rankings include Texas A&M up one spot, to 11, after a 5-0 week that featured a sweep of Long Beach State, Clemson moving from 15 to 12 after a 5-0 week that included a sweep of Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt going from 18 to 15 after winning their pair of games in the Dodgertown tournament in Los Angeles, and modest moves at the back of the rankings from NC State, Southern Miss, Mississippi State, and LSU.

Fallers outside of the top ten were UCLA falling two spots, to 13, after they lost both of their games in the Dodgertown tournament, and Virginia falling from 16 to 24 after they lost their ACC series with Duke.

New teams into the rankings are the aforementioned Duke Blue Devils, in at 21 after the series win over the Cavaliers, and UCF, in at 25, after a 5-0 week that included that pair of midweek wins over Florida.

Falling out of the rankings this week are Dallas Baptist, after a 2-2 week, and Coastal Carolina, after they went 2-3 on the week.
