College Baseball Central Podcast: Recapping Week 13 Around College Baseball

On this episode of the College Baseball Central Podcast, Joe Healy and Scott Stone recap week 13 around college baseball.

They begin by discussing the newest edition of the top 25. The rankings this week featured some shake up in the top five, as Stanford dropped from two to five after a series loss against Oregon State, and several other teams moved up into their place, including the Beavers, who moved back up to number two. Arkansas, after a series sweep of Texas A&M, and Duke, after a series win over rival North Carolina, were two of the big jumpers this week.

From there, they discuss some of the RPI notables this week, including Stetson’s steadily-improving host case, the logjam of bubble teams in the RPI, Louisiana Tech’s resurgent at-large hopes after a series win over Southern Miss, Coastal Carolina working their way back up into the periphery of the hosting discussion, and Northeastern’s fading hopes of being an at-large team.

They wrap up by previewing some big midweek games, including Minnesota visiting St. John’s in a matchup of two teams on track to get into regionals, Campbell taking on ECU, Stetson going toe-to-toe with Miami, and the MEAC and SWAC tournaments, which get underway on Wednesday.

Thanks for listening, everyone!
