College Baseball Central Podcast: Recapping Week 11 Around College Baseball

On this episode of the College Baseball Central Podcast, Joe Healy and Scott Stone recap week 11 around college baseball.

After some light banter on the topic of infrastructure, they discuss the most recent top 25, which featured a ton of change inside of the top ten and very little change outside of the top ten. The biggest jumper this week is North Carolina, which moved up ten spots, all the way to number five, while fallers included Texas Tech, NC State, East Carolina, and Texas.

During the top 25 discussion, Joe talks about his takeaways from the series between Minnesota and Ohio State in Columbus, and from Sunday’s game between Miami and Ohio University in Oxford, Ohio, which featured a gem from Miami starting pitcher Gus Graham.

From there, they talk about some of the top RPI notables this week, including Cal State Fullerton and Houston getting back into at-large RPI range, the Big 12 making a run at getting more bids into the field of 64, Georgia holding steady as a host team, and the Atlantic Sun looking like a potential three-bid league.

They wrap up by previewing a few notable midweek games, including Louisville visiting Vanderbilt, Houston taking on Sam Houston State, Florida Atlantic hitting the road to take on UCF, and Missouri traveling to Iowa in a game that was added just a few weeks ago.

Thanks for listening, everyone!
