COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Cole Lankford hit a walk-off, bases loaded single in the bottom of the ninth inning to give Texas A&M the series-tying win over LSU by a score of 3-2. A pair of singles by Krey Bratsen and Patrick McClendon with a walk by Blake Allemand loaded the bases with no outs bringing Lankford to the plate where he put a 3-and-1 delivery into right center field for the win.
The Aggies manufactured a first inning run on Tigers’ starter Jared Poche’ as Allemand led-off the inning with a single and was moved into scoring position with a McClendon sac bunt before Lankford drove him in with a single to right field. Nick Banks led-off the second with a double before scoring on Ryne Birk‘s single to right center giving the Aggies a 2-0 lead.
LSU would tie the game in the fourth against Aggie starter Daniel Mendgen with an RBI triple by Conner Hale who would later score on a wild pitch.
Poche’ and Mendgen dueled until Poche’ gave way to reliever Kurt McCune in the eighth. McCune would take the loss giving up the walk-off to Lankford in the ninth.
Poche’ battled all day allowing seven hits and five walks over seven innings of work and Medgen threw a complete game surrendering five hits and a walk while striking out five.

AUBURN, Ala. – Mississippi State’s Ross Mitchell threw a complete game, four-hit, shutout as the Bulldogs take the series from Auburn with a 3-0 win Saturday. Michell struck out four while Alex Detz scored a run and drove in another to lead the offense in the win.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Casey Turgeon and Taylor Gushue account for three of Florida’s four runs as the Gators drop Alabama 4-3 to snag the series win. Turgeon scored on a wild pitch in the third and then hit an RBI double in the fifth while Gushue hit a solo homer that sparked a two-run, sixth inning rally as Florida took the lead on a single by A.J. Puk. The Gator pen made the lead stick and Ryan Harris closed the game out for his fifth save.
OXFORD, Miss. – Sikes Orvis goes 2-for-3 with a solo homer, scoring twice and knocking in two runs as Ole Miss defeats Arkansas 7-4 to take the series. The Razorbacks scored four off Rebels’ starter Christian Trent in the first inning, but Ole Miss would respond with three off Hogs’ starter Jalen Beeks in the home half of the inning. Ole Miss took the lead for good with a three run fourth inning.
