LUBBOCK, Texas - Dylan Dusek and Dominic Moreno combined to shutout West Virginia as Texas Tech completed the series sweep with a 4-0 win on Saturday at Rip Griffin Park. The Red Raiders pulled of the sweep by winning back-to-back walk-off wins on Thursday and Friday and have wrapped up the four seed in the Big 12 Conference Tournament this week.

Dusek started on the bump for Texas Tech and threw 6.2 shutout innings on five hits and three walks with a strike out. The freshman southpaw induced a pair of double plays and had runners on base in every inning but the fifth before being pulled in the seventh with two outs and a runner on after surrendering his third walk of the day.

Moreno came in with the Red Raiders leading 3-0 and got the final out of the seventh after allowing a single. The junior righty cruised through the eighth before an error and a double put runners at second and third with one out. Moreno got a strikeout and a groundout to end the threat and preserve the 4-0 win.

Adam Kirsch provided the run support on a solo home run and three runs scored.

Texas Tech will now face Texas in Game 4 of the Big 12 Conference Tournament on Wednesday. West Virginia will play Kansas in Game 1 of the Tournament.
